The Worship Network Sponsors "Glory Revealed" Tour

  • Apr 1, 2007

Nashville, Tenn. —April 1, 2007— The Worship Network will sponsor this spring’s Glory Revealed tour and will provide visual imaging for the event. Mac Powell (Third Day front man) and author/speaker David Nasser, along with “friends” Shane & Shane, Brian Littrell, Starfield’s Tim Neufeld, Hyper Static Union’s Shawn Lewis, Trevor Morgan and Candi Pearson-Shelton will kick off the 15-city tour on April 9 in Frederick, MD.

In addition to providing images on three screens during each concert, The Worship Network worked with David Nasser and “Jesus Painter” Mike Lewis to create an original video for the album’s first single, By His Wounds.

“We are very excited to partner with this tour and to come alongside what God is doing in Christian music today,” says Bruce Koblish, President & CEO. “Glory Revealed reminds us that God’s Word communicates his character, and The Worship Network’s video images remind us of his power. The two together are a great combination.”

Released to retail on March 6, Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship features songs crafted directly from Scripture and set to a musical canvas of folk, rock, country, bluegrass and more. Powell, Nasser, and friends will present a beautiful night of worship by taking this unique sound and powerful message directly to the church through this tour.

Many of the images shown during the concerts can be accessed and used royalty-free through Worship’s newest venture, the Nature of Worship. By providing thousands of still photos and videos from The Network’s archive of footage, NoW provides an invaluable resource for worship leaders, church communications professionals, and other ministry leaders.

“We hope the Glory Revealed audience will not only be blessed by the images used on the tour, but will be inspired to incorporate the images into their own worship experiences in the local church,” Koblish says.

The Worship Network exists to help people worship God; it operates a 24-hour digital television network in more than 50 markets, develops partnerships to create resources and products that facilitate personal and corporate worship, and partners with events including live concerts, worship seminars and more.

Worship’s new website, launching May 1, will include a state-of-the-art “Worship Media Player” that enables a high-quality live video stream.
